Weather and Safety Cancellations
Helicopter flights are weather-dependent. If Langtang Heli Tours cancels a flight due to adverse weather, mountain conditions, air traffic control, or any other safety concern, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule to a new date at no additional cost. Weather cancellations are always at our full responsibility.
Client-Initiated Cancellations
Cancellation policies vary by the time of your cancellation before the scheduled departure:
- 60+ days before departure: Full refund minus a USD 50 administrative fee
- 30 to 59 days before departure: 50% refund of the total charter cost
- Less than 30 days before departure: No refund
- No-show: No refund
Rescheduling
We understand that plans can change. Subject to availability and at no administration fee, we allow you to reschedule your charter once, provided you notify us at least 48 hours before your scheduled departure. Rescheduling within 48 hours is treated as a cancellation under the terms above.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or card provider to reflect the refund.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and high-altitude activities. Helicopter charters to Kyanjin Gompa and Gosaikunda are operated at altitude, and appropriate insurance provides peace of mind for changes beyond our control.
