Booking and Payment Terms
To confirm your helicopter charter with Langtang Heli Tours, a 30% deposit of the total charter cost is required. The remaining balance must be paid at least 3 days before the flight date. Bookings made within 3 days of departure require full payment at the time of reservation. We accept bank transfers, credit cards, and major payment methods.
Helicopter Charter Rules
Each passenger must provide accurate name, date of birth, and weight details at the time of booking, as these determine helicopter load planning and flight safety. Baggage is limited to the charter allowance and must be checked with our operations team. Passengers who provide incorrect weight information may be required to pay any additional fuel or load costs.
Weather and Operational Changes
Helicopter flights in the Langtang region are heavily dependent on weather and mountain conditions. Langtang Heli Tours reserves the right to delay, reschedule, or cancel flights due to weather, air traffic control, or safety concerns. In such cases, we will offer a rescheduled flight or a full refund, at your option.
Passenger Conduct and Safety
Passengers must follow all safety instructions given by the pilot and ground crew, including seatbelt use, baggage handling, and boarding procedures. High-altitude stopovers carry inherent risks, and passengers are responsible for their own fitness and medical fitness for altitude flight. We provide medical oxygen on board as a precaution.
Medical and Fitness
Certain charters, particularly high-altitude flights to Kyanjin Gompa (3,830m) and Gosaikunda Lakes, may not be suitable for all passengers. Passengers must disclose relevant medical conditions at the time of booking. Langtang Heli Tours reserves the right to refuse or modify bookings for passengers whose condition may pose a safety risk to themselves or others.
Liability
Langtang Heli Tours acts as an organizer and operator of helicopter charter services. While we exercise the highest standards of care in selecting and maintaining our aircraft and crews, we are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control, including weather, natural disasters, or acts of third parties. Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the charter, subject to applicable insurance coverage.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kathmandu, Nepal.
